A Child's Day

 

Daily Activities ::

• A broad spectrum of art supplies and craft materials are used for daily art projects to promote creative expression, fine motor coordination, and thematic exploration.

• Circle time brings the class together for news, group activities and reading stories.

• Computers are available in every 3 and 4-year-old classroom and teachers offer individual instruction during free play.

• At mid-session, the children enjoy a school-provided snack.

• Our large, well-equipped playground area and indoor play room are used for active play, social interaction, and gross-motor skill development.

• The children engage in developmentally appropriate academic activities to facilitate math and reading skills and to develop a greater understanding of the world around them.

Weekly Activities ::

• Our science classes offer children hands-on activities to explore age-appropriate science concepts.

• In our Music Classes, children enjoy testing their voices and learning about different sounds through listening and active participation.

• In Creative Movement Classes, children develop their large motor skills through active make-believe games which encourage self-expression.
